Fili Coaches has its headquarters in the village of Alimena in the province of Palermo. It was founded in 1965 by Vincenzo Fili, who ran it as a car rental business for more than 30 years. In 1995, his son Mario expanded the business and started to rent out overland buses, with an emphasis on incoming tourism. Following this concept, Fili Coaches has been working with Italian and international travel companies from all over the world. Mario took over his father’s principles of Seriousness and Professionalism in his business dealings, and it was not long before this yielded positive results. In 2003, another branch was opened in Mascalucia in the Province of Catania, leading to further contracts mostly in the Taormina and Catania areas. While the core business remains in the provinces of Palermo and Catania, Fili Coaches not only operates all over Sicily, but also travels on the Italian mainland and into other parts of Europe. The company has many years of experience regarding group travel, and it organises conference travel, individual and group transfers from and to airports, ports, hotels etc.
